Mr. Siska began his career in 1984, building the Chicago Operations Center for a national Non-Recourse Factoring & Asset Based Lending firm from the ground up. Three years later, he established the firm’s first International subsidiary in Toronto, Canada. In 1990, he was promoted to Corporate Sales Director and supervised over 25 Sales Centers scattered throughout the United States and Canada. Tom left in 1994 to turnaround a struggling Asset Based Lender in San Jose, CA. As part of the turnaround strategy, Tom also started a de-novo Factoring Division. Only two years later, the Company sold to a Bank for almost 15 times Book Equity. Tom later joined GE Capital as Senior Vice President/Western Region Manager for GE’s small ABL & Factoring Division. Mr. Siska then became President of the only Outsourcing & Consulting Practices specifically targeting the ABL and Factoring Industries. One of Tom’s assignments was the turnaround of a $700MM Finance Company that was in default of its bank loan. The acquirer later hired him in April of 2006 to take over as President and assist in the post acquisition stabilization. Tom wrote the Factoring Column for the ABF Journal in 2005 and 2006. He is a current writer for The Commercial Factor and regularly teaches Factoring classes for the International Factoring Association. Tom holds degrees in both Finance and Marketing from DePaul University in Chicago (1983) and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago (1990).
Bill spent a twenty year career with Dun & Bradstreet. During that time, he held a variety of positions that included credit management, sales training and mangement, Divisional, District and National Sales management.While holding the Divisional, District and National mangement positions, he was responsible and successful with managing Dun & Bradstreet's relationships with large customers that were involved with the banking and insurance business.
In 1992 he left Dun & Bradstreet to embark upon a career that was involved with the Asset Based Lending and Factoring business. For the next 16 years he was responsible for sourcing, managing and growing various factoring concerns. The companies he was associated with included: Allstate Financial, first Capital Corporation, BayView Funding, Prestige Capital Corporation, Marlin Trade Receivables and Greystone Commercial Services. These companies offered a variety of products and gave Bill an overall knowledge of what the Factoring and Asset Based Lending businesses can offer. He brings with him a vast knowledge of the businesses and respect from his peers.
